Mill Creek Re-Paving Project - Navarro ISD Transportation

The Navarro Transportation Department has been informed of the repaving project that will begin in your community on April the 9th. In an effort to minimize the disruption of transportation services for your child, I am sending you the following plan:
Children grades Pre-K through 3rd :
If your street is closed on Monday, April 9th: Please meet the school bus at the covered bench ON Mustang Meadow @ Coral Sky to receive your child.
If your street is closed on Tuesday, April 10th , Wednesday, April 11th or Thursday, April 12th: Please meet the school bus at the covered bench ON Coral Sky @ Palomino Pass to receive your child.
Students who are in grades 4 – 12, will be released on the closest corner to their designated bus stop that we can safely get to.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.

Your School Health Advisory Council (SHAC) has been looking at Navarro district health/wellness issues.

The council is looking at issues such as teen pregnancy, obesity, nutrition, diabetes, teen driving, vaping, suicide, language usage, etc. and comparing them to national statistics. We've been talking with administrators, parents, and staff to try to identify any concern areas our students, staff, and faculty may have that keeps them from being as healthy as they can. We hope to have a survey, either at the end of this year or the beginning of next to get your input as to health/wellness concerns you may have. Please don't hesitate to contact the SHAC if you'd like to be a part of this fact gathering process or if you have concerns.
